  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 water glass of granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanillin extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup walnut or chocolate drops (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare a bread mould lined with greaseproof paper.
  • Mash the ripe bananas into a puree. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, vanillin extract and eggs.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until the mixture is homogeneous. Optionally, add the walnuts or chocolate drops.
  • Pour the mixture into the mould lined with greaseproof paper. Ensure that it spreads evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • After removing from the oven, let the bread cool in the mould for about 10 minutes. Then remove the bread from the mould and let it cool completely.
