  • Water (enough to completely cover the bones)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  • Place the marrow and vegetables on a baking tray. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Once all the ingredients are evenly distributed, add the water. Add enough water to completely cover the bones.
  • Place the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 30-40 minutes until the bones are golden brown. This is the first step in flavouring the bones.
  • Transfer all the ingredients to a large saucepan. Add water until the bones and vegetables cover the liquid.
