Ingredients

  • 2 cans of tinned beef

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 large onion (grated)

  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • ½ cup of hot water

  • Black pepper, salt, chilli flakes (optional)

  • 2 cups boiled rice or pasta (for serving)

Directions

  • Drain the tinned beef well.
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add the grated onion and fry until it turns pink.
  • Add the garlic and continue to roast until it starts to smell.
  • Add the tinned beef to the pan. Stir fry until it turns colour.
  • Add tomato paste and stir.
  • Add hot water and cook the mixture over low heat until the water is absorbed.
