Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken breast (cut into strips)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 eggs (beaten)

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • Salt and black pepper (according to your taste)

  • 4 burger buns

  • Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles (optional)

  • Mayonnaise and mustard sauce (for serving)

Directions

  • Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper.
  • Prepare the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese on one plate, the beaten egg on another plate and the breadcrumbs on another plate.
  • Coat the chicken strips well, first in the breadcrumbs and parmesan mixture, then in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  • Fry the chicken fingers in hot oil until golden brown. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel.
  • Slice the burger buns and lightly toast each slice in a toaster or frying pan.
  • Place the lettuce on the bottom of the toasted bread slices, place the chicken fingers, sliced tomatoes and pickles on top.
  • Garnish the sandwich with mayonnaise and mustard sauce as desired.
