  • 4 pieces of chicken breast

  • 200 grams of string cheese (grated)

  • 1 cup spinach (chopped)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme (optional)

  • 4 slices of ham or smoked turkey

  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese


  • Cut the chicken breasts into thin slices and beat them by laying cling film on them. Place the pounded chicken on a flat surface.
  • Mix grated string cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, pepper and olive oil in a bowl. Spread this filling evenly over the chicken slices.
  • Cover each chicken slice with a slice of ham or smoked turkey. Wrap the rolls and secure them with toothpicks.
  • Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Sprinkle fresh thyme on them and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  • Bake the chicken rolls in a preheated 180°C (350°F) oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
