  • For Churro Dough:

  • 1 cup water

  • ½ cup of butter

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup cinnamon powder (to sprinkle on top)

  • For Cheesecake

  • 500g cream cheese

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup yogurt

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanillin extract

  • For Topping:

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  • Churro Dough:
    In a saucepan, combine the water, butter, sugar and salt until boiling.
    Once boiling, add the flour and stir the mixture with a spoon to form a dough.
    Remove from the stove and add the eggs one at a time. Stir until the dough is smooth.
    Put the dough into a piping bag and pipe it onto the tray lined with greaseproof paper, forming a churro shape.
    Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown.
  • Cheesecake Layer:
    Beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, yogurt, eggs and vanillin extract with a mixer.
    Once the churro dough is cooked, spread the cheesecake mixture over it.
    Bake in a 160 degree oven until the edges are firm and the center jiggles slightly.
