Ingredients

  • 500 grams of fresh green beans

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves of garlic (optional, thinly sliced)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional, for decoration)

Directions

  • Cut the ends off the fresh green beans and wash them. If you want, you can remove the cracks on both sides of the beans.
  • Boil a pot of water and add salt. Put the beans in the boiling water and blanch for about 5-7 minutes. Allow the beans to soften slightly.
  • Drain the boiled beans and rinse with cold water to stop the boiling.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Add thinly sliced garlic cloves and roast them lightly.
