Ingredients

  • 1 water cup butter

  • 2 cups of granulated sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 2 tsp vanillin extract

  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

  • For Topping:

  • Powdered sugar (optional)

  • Ice cream (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven (180°C).
  • Melt the butter and put it in a bowl. Add granulated sugar and mix well.
  • Add the eggs one by one and whisk the mixture after each addition.
  • Mix the flour, cocoa powder and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Add half of the mixture to the butter mixture and mix.
  • Then add the milk and mix. Add the remaining dry ingredients and whisk until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the vanillin extract and add the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
  • Pour the mixture into a pan lined with greaseproof paper and flatten.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Check the cooking time by inserting a toothpick until it comes out dry.
  • Leave the brownie out of the oven to cool.
  • Slice and serve with ice cream and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
