  • 400 grams of whole wheat spaghetti

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup of walnut

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper (optional)


  • Boil a pot of water and boil the spaghetti pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain the boiled pasta and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the finely chopped garlic. Saute over low heat until the garlic turns pink.
  • Add the baby spinach on the sautéed garlic. Cook by stirring until the spinach shrinks and softens.
  • After the spinach is cooked, add fresh basil leaves and walnuts. Continue sautéing by stirring until all ingredients come together.
