Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • ½ cup butter (cold, chopped into cubes)

  • ½ cup of milk (cold)

  • ½ cup yoghurt (cold)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
  • Add the flour, granulated sugar and baking powder to a large mixing bowl. Add the butter and mix the mixture with your fingers until crumbly.
  • Add the cold milk and yoghurt. Knead the mixture lightly, but do not knead the dough too much, just stir.
  • Flour the worktop and roll out the dough to about 2.5 cm thick.
  • Cut the dough with round biscuit moulds and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  • Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  • Let the hot biscuits rest for a few minutes before serving.
