  • 500 grams of steak (optionally cut into cubes)

  • 300 grams of prawns, cleaned and deveined

  • 2 cups soya sauce

  • 1/2 cup sesame oil

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 4 cloves of garlic, grated

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced

  • 1 large onion, chopped into rings

  • 2 cups cooked jasmin rice


  • Marinade: Place the steaks and prawns separately in a large bowl. Add the soya sauce, sesame oil, honey, honey, garlic, fresh ginger, salt and pepper to marinate both ingredients. Coat the prawns and steaks thoroughly in the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
