How to Make Ham Ball Recipe

  • 500 grams of beef mince

  • 200 grams ham (chopped small)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • 1 medium onion (grated)

  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)

  • ½ cup of milk

  • ½ cup of olive oil

  • Salt, black pepper, chilli flakes (optional)

  • 1 cup grated kashar cheese

  • ½ cup finely ground walnuts

  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley

  • For Sauce

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • Salt, black pepper


  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the minced meat, ham, breadcrumbs, egg, grated onion, crushed garlic, milk, olive oil, salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes.
  • Add grated kasar cheese, finely ground walnuts and chopped parsley and knead the mixture well.
  • Roll the mixture into walnut sized pieces and place them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until the top is well browned (about 25-30 minutes).
  • For the Sauce:
  • Melt the butter, add flour and roast.
  • Add the milk little by little and stir constantly.
  • When the sauce starts to boil, add salt and black pepper and cook until it thickens.
