Ingredients

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate

  • 1 glass of milk

  • 1/2 water glass cream

  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa

  • 1 tea glass of granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanillin extract

  • A pinch of salt

  • Grated chocolate and fresh berries (for serving)

Directions

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave oven. Stir until it melts well.
  • Heat the milk and cream in a separate saucepan. Remove from the heat before it reaches the boiling point.
  • Add the warm milk-cream mixture to the melted chocolate and mix.
  • Add cocoa, granulated sugar, vanillin extract and a pinch of salt and mix until you get a homogenous consistency.
  • Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat before it reaches the boiling point.
  • Pour the Italian chocolate into cups or mugs. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Garnish with grated chocolate and fresh fruits before serving.
