These measurements are suitable for serving at a large party or preparing for a celebration. Please observe the laws and age restrictions for alcohol consumption where you live. This recipe is intended for adults due to the alcohol content.

  • 2.5 litres of rum

  • 1.5 litres of blue curaçao liqueur

  • 1.5 litres coconut liqueur (Coco Lopez or similar)

  • 2 litres of pineapple juice

  • 1 litre pineapple juice concentrate (frozen)

  • 1 litre of lime juice

  • 1 litre sprite or ginger ale

  • Ice

  • Strawberry slices or mint leaves (optional, for decoration)


  • In a mixing bowl, combine the rum, blue curaçao liqueur, coconut liqueur, pineapple juice, pineapple juice concentrate and lime juice.
  • Whisk or stir the mixture well. At this point, you can taste and adjust according to your personal preference by adding sugar or extra lime juice.
  • Chill the drink in the refrigerator for a while before serving.
  • Add sprite or ginger ale to the drink before serving. This will add a fizziness and vibrancy to the drink.
  • Put ice in glasses and pour the blue Hawaiian drink you have prepared.
  • Serve garnished with strawberry slices or mint leaves.
