Ingredients

  • 400 grams of your favourite pasta type

  • 2 tablespoons salt

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • For Sauce:
    3 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1 water glass of cream

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper (you can adjust according to your taste)

  • Fresh chopped parsley (for serving)

Directions

  • Boil the pasta in salted water for the time specified on the package. You can prevent the pasta from sticking by adding a little olive oil to the boiling water.
  • During the boiling time of the pasta, melt the butter in a large pan. Add the garlic and roast lightly.
  • Add the cream on the roasted garlic. Stir until the mixture starts to boil.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese to the boiling mixture. Stir until the mixture thickens.
  • When your sauce reaches the desired consistency, adjust it according to your taste by adding salt and pepper.
  • Add the boiled pasta into the sauce and mix well. Keep it together for a few minutes so that all the pasta absorbs the sauce well.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve hot and enjoy a special evening.

Notes

  • Pasta Selection: Use your favourite type of pasta, but for good adhesion of the creamy sauce, pasta with a flat surface and a large surface is preferable.
  • Boiling the Pasta: Boil the pasta using salted water. Pay attention to the boiling time and leave the pasta “al dente”, that is, slightly al dente, because it will cook a little more with the sauce.
  • Using Garlic: Lightly roasting the garlic in butter will help you achieve a softer taste by spreading its flavour throughout the dish.
  • Consistency of the Sauce: When preparing the sauce, slowly add the cream and stir. After adding Parmesan, stir over low heat to thicken.
  • Parmesan Cheese: Using quality grated parmesan cheese enriches the flavour of the sauce. Fresh grated parmesan can be preferred.
  • Parsley During Service: Freshly chopped parsley will add colour and freshness to the dish. Adding it before serving provides a visual elegance.
  • Hot Service: Serve the pasta hot immediately after it is combined with the sauce. This helps the pasta to better absorb the sauce and maximise the flavour.
  • Personalisation: Personalise the recipe. Perhaps by adding extra ingredients to the sauce, such as grilled chicken, spinach or roasted mushrooms, you can adapt it to your own taste.
  • These tricks will help you to make the “Marry me Pasta” recipe more flavourful and special. We wish you good cooking and enjoy a special evening!
