  • 1 cup Martha White cornflour

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 glass of milk

  • 1/4 water glass of oil

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 packet of baking powder


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare a tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the cornflour, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil and egg.
  • Add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture and mix until you get a homogenous dough.
  • Pour the prepared dough into the tray lined with greaseproof paper and smooth it.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the top is nicely browned.
  • Allow the bread to cool, then slice and serve.
