Ingredients

  • 500 g turkey meat, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tea glass chopped tomato

  • 1 water glass of chicken broth

  • Salt, black pepper (optional)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (for serving)

Directions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pan and add the chopped turkey meat. Sauté until the meat turns brown.
  • Add the onion and garlic and sauté over low heat until soft.
  • Add the spices (cumin, chilli powder, black pepper) and stir.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and add the chicken stock. Stir the mixture and bring to a boil.
  • After boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot and cook the dish for 20-25 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste (optional).
  • Sprinkle with fresh coriander before placing on a serving plate.
