Peach Dump Cake 8×8
2 ripe peaches (peeled and sliced)
1.5 cups flour
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup of yoghurt
1 tsp vanillin extract
1 tsp baking powder
Half tsp salt
For On Top:
Half a cup of crushed walnuts (optional)
Powdered sugar (for sprinkling before serving)
- Set the oven to 180 degrees (preheated) and grease an 8×8-inch cake pan.
- In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar well. Add the oil, yogurt and vanillin extract and continue mixing.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a separate bowl. Mix the mixture until it gets a homogeneous consistency.
- Pour the prepared batter into the greased cake mold.
- Place the peach slices on the batter and make sure that the slices do not sink into the batter.
- Optionally sprinkle crushed walnuts on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the baked cake cool down and after it comes to room temperature, slice and serve.
- For the most flavorful results, use ripe, soft but not watery peaches. The aroma and flavor of the peaches will be more pronounced in your cake.
- Avoid using too much energy when mixing the cake batter. Just stir until the ingredients are well mixed to complete the process. Over-mixing can cause your cake to be dense.
- When baking your cake in the oven, check the cooking time regularly. Ovens can vary, so use a toothpick or knife test to check that the batter is fully cooked by inserting it into the center of the cake.
- When placing the peach slices in the cake batter, make sure to spread them evenly. This will ensure a more homogeneous distribution of peaches in your cake.
- After removing the cake from the oven, let it cool to room temperature. Then slice and serve. This will help the structure of your cake to settle and the peach flavor to become more pronounced.
- These tips will help you make your Peach Cake (8×8 Inches) recipe more successful and delicious. Happy baking and bon appetit!
