Cooking time

  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 cup butter (melted)

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 packet of vanillin sugar

  • 1 packet of baking powder

  • Half a glass of cocoa

  • Half a glass of chocolate chips

  • 4 Butterfinger chocolate bars (broken into large pieces)

  • For the top

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 tsp vanillin sugar

  • Broken Butterfinger pieces

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease the cake mold.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and granulated sugar well. Add the melted butter, milk and vanillin and continue mixing.
  • Add the flour, cocoa and baking powder and mix. Then add the chocolate chips and broken Butterfingers and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased cake mold.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • After the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool at room temperature.
  • While the cake is cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.
  • When the cake has cooled completely, pour the glaze over the top and garnish with crushed Butterfinger pieces.
  • Slice and serve.

  • Use Fresh Ingredients: For best results, make sure to use fresh ingredients. Fresh eggs, fresh milk and fresh Butterfinger chocolate bars enhance the flavor.
  • Room Temperature Ingredients: By using room temperature ingredients such as eggs and butter, your cake will have a better consistency.
  • Balance the Cake Batter: Be balanced when mixing the ingredients. Avoid over-mixing, as this can prevent the cake from rising.
  • Adjust the Oven Temperature: When baking your cake, set the oven temperature correctly. The oven should be preheated and kept at the appropriate temperature for the recipe.
  • Toothpick Test: Use a toothpick test to check if the cake is cooked. Insert the toothpick into the center of the cake, if it comes out clean when you take it out, the cake is cooked.
  • Pay Attention to the Cooling Process: After removing your cake from the oven, leave it on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then let it cool completely on a wire rack. This will help your cake cool properly without falling apart.
  • Balance the glaze: When preparing the powdered sugar glaze, check the consistency. You can adjust the consistency by adding milk or powdered sugar as needed.
  • Add Butterfinger Pieces: When adding the Butterfinger chocolate chips, mix some into the cake batter and sprinkle some on top. This ensures that there are delicious chocolate chips both in the cake and on top.
  • Serving: After slicing your cake, you can add extra Butterfinger pieces or grated chocolate for a visual treat.
  • By following these tips, you can prepare a delicious and eye-catching Butterfinger Cake. Bon Appetit!
