  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard powder

  • 1 teaspoon of chilli

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 green chilli (optional, chopped)

  • 1 jalapeno pepper (optional, chopped)

  • 1/2 cup rotary tobacco or wood shavings (for smoked flavour)

Directions

  • Melt the butter in a pan. Add the flour and roast over low heat until it starts to smell.
  • Slowly add the milk or cream and stir constantly. Cook until the mixture gets a thick and smooth consistency.
  • Add grated cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Cook while stirring until the cheeses melt.
  • Add mustard powder, chilli powder and garlic powder. Optionally, add chopped green pepper and jalapeno pepper. Cook until the mixture reaches a homogenous consistency.
